Summer is going, going, GONE! I am so sorry to have been running so fast - at the speed of light, that I haven't been able to blog my newsletter. But school is starting and Whew, I might have time to breathe. (and I thought I was pretty good at not being overcommited...well, maybe not...)

I've GOT to take some time to stamp - or I'll just go crazy, So, come stamp with me...

No, seriously - how about a Stamp Camp this month highlighting...Crazy-Off-Beat-Holidays - Like...Don't Cry Over Spilled Milk Day or Lost Sock Memorial Day? These are real holidays folks, really! So, we'll make 12 cards, two for each of 6 months (and do the other 6 months soon) and you can keep in touch with...your best friend who moved to California, or your mother the snowbird back in FL, or your daughter going away to college....you name it - you'll LOVE these Zany holidays!

This month, your challenge is to make a Special Border -with punches or DIECUTS on a card or Scrapbook page. Use something fun, Designer Paper, fabric, cork, aluminum foil (like on a project from Stamp Camp in March (it was very cool!) - Send me a picture!

Happy Valentine's Day Friends!

Last month we had a great time making Valentine and Birthday cards at the last Camp, as well as learning a new technique - Faux Bleach - the look of bleach without the drying aspect of real bleach! It was fun to stamp and be with friends. I hope to see more of my stamping friends at camp this month and next. It really is Therapy for our busy lives, relaxation and food - for a small investment of time - well worth it! So come on over!

Paper Piecing - Stamp your image twice. Once on your card, then on Designer Paper. Cut out part of the image (hint - inside the lines) and attach over the stamped image on your card. Instant color and design! Beautiful! (Just be sure to use your paper snips scissors for the easiest way to cut small images).
